Welcome to the Bo Peep Pre-school website.
Bo Beep Pre-school has been open since 1976. We operate from three rooms in The Methodist Church in the village of High Littleton. The group has access to the hall, a quiet room and the Church room as well as an outside play area which is enclosed during use.
At Bo Peep, we aim to provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment, catering for every child's individual needs.
We allow children to discover that learning is fun through focused and spontaneous play activities.
We encourage them to respect each other and each other's possessions. We aim to increase children's self-confidence, self-esteem and self-help skills, enabling them to become more independent.
We value parental partnership and involvement in order to ensure minimum disruption to the child's home routine. Parents can be a
ssured that their children will be loved, cared for and are welcome to help settle their child into the pre-school until they are familiar with their new surroundings.
We believe that young children learn most effectively through being active, by organising their own learning experiences, by using language and through considerate and respectful relationships and interactions with other children and adults.
We also believe they are entitled to a broad and balanced curriculum, rooted in the process of how young children develop and learn, based on their interests and previous experiences, thus enabling them to make connections and succeed.
